AstroName is a professional numerology platform that analyses your name using the Chaldean system — one of the oldest and most respected name analysis methods in the world. We combine your name and date of birth to generate a comprehensive numerology profile, including your name number, birth number, life path number, Lo Shu Grid, and name–DOB compatibility analysis.

The Chaldean system originated in ancient Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq) and assigns numerical values to letters based on their sound vibration rather than alphabetical order. Unlike the Pythagorean system, Chaldean numerology does not assign the number 9 to any letter — 9 is considered sacred and complete.

Each letter maps to a value between 1 and 8. The total of all letters in a name gives the compound number, which is then reduced to a root number (1–9). Both numbers carry significance in a complete reading.
